Bowman Glass, located in Dallas, Texas, is the home and studio of Jim Bowman and Mary Lynn Devereux-Bowman. The Bowman’s have been developing their expressions in glass since 1978. They both received their formal training in glass at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, studying under the internationally renowned glass artist, Marvin Lipofsky.
Bowman Glass offers a diverse approach to glass art, including architectural leaded glass, glass blowing and casting, kiln-worked glass, and glass and mixed media sculpture. They are committed to a lifestyle of ongoing experimentation and artistic growth in their autonomous artwork. They also create specially commissioned pieces and installations which can be found in public spaces, corporate environments, hotels and restaurants, health-care institutions, and private residences. The Bowmans welcome inquiries from interior designers, architects, and art consultants. See a partial list of commissions here.
