About Bowman Hot Glass PDF Print E-mail

Bowman Hot Glass, located in Dallas, Texas, is owned and operated by Jim Bowman and Mary Lynn Devereux-Bowman. The Bowman’s have been developing their expressions in glass since 1978. They both received their formal training in glass at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, studying under the internationally renowned glass artist, Marvin Lipofsky. The studio occupies a five thousand square foot building in the Cedars neighborhood, Dallas’ newest up and coming downtown arts district.

The Bowmans, with the help of their talented assistants, have developed their artistic vision in many aspects of glass working, including architectural leaded glass, glass blowing and casting, kiln-worked glass, and glass and mixed media sculpture. They have done many commissioned projects for public spaces, corporate environments, hotels and restaurants, and private residential installations. Bowman Hot Glass also has an in-house showroom where their autonomous gallery work, including blown glass vessels and cast glass and mixed media sculpture, can be viewed and purchased.

The art work displayed on this web site is not necessarily all for sale. Many of the pieces shown are photos of commissioned work or pieces that have already been sold. For information on prices and availability, please contact us through the information on the Contact page.
